To facilitate a safer way of collecting the health declaration information of its customers, Vista Mall has begun installation of QR codes in all entrances of its malls instead of providing manual forms. The shift was initially introduced to its premium shopping center, Evia Lifestyle Center at Vista Alabang, and is expected to be completely rolled out to all Vista Malls and Starmalls by October 3, Saturday.
When scanned, the QR codes will redirect customers to Vista Mall’s online contact tracing form where they are required to input their personal information and answer questions regarding their state of health. The online form is guaranteed user-friendly and can be easily filled out. Since data collection is automated, this ensures that every customer’s complete information is collected and readily available to aid in the proper contact tracing of authorities.
The benefits of shifting to electronic data collection goes beyond the obvious which is lessened physical contact between customers and employees manning the entrances. With the electronic collection of customers’ data, Vista Mall can easily manage the information with a few clicks on a computer—making management, compilation, and retrieval of necessary information quick and easy. Customers can be assured that their information will be kept private and can only be accessed by authorized parties, should the need arise.
As the country continues to navigate the new normal, Vista Mall is working round the clock to make sure that its tenants, partners, and customers are all guided accordingly as the management continuously reviews and improves its safety and health protocols.
With community quarantine regulations easing up, Vista Mall has reported a steady increase in the number of mallgoers nowadays. Thus, Vista Mall has stepped up its efforts to continue providing a safe and pleasant shopping and dining experience for its patrons. Physical distancing is still strictly implemented whenever inside mall premises and routine sanitation and disinfection is still in effect across all Vista Malls and Starmalls. Safety reminders are also regularly played through the malls’ PA systems prompting customers to practice self-discipline and take a more active role in safeguarding their health.
Given the current situation the nation is facing, Vista Mall is committed to keeping their malls clean and safe—giving people confidence that they can buy their necessities and complete important errands and tasks without having to worry about catching any germs or viruses that may lead to sickness.
Vista Mall is currently present in more than 30 locations nationwide, including Starmalls and premium shopping destinations, Evia Lifestyle Center at Vista Alabang and NOMO – A Vista Lifestyle Center at Bacoor City.
